Q. On the UDM and USC meters, why can’t
I connect the serial port of the input module to a computer while
the input signal is connected?
Because the auxiliary serial port of the input
module is not insulated from the input terminals, If the input signal
is connected, serious damage can occur to both the PC and input module.
