Carlo Gavazzi offers a range of compact motor controllers for soft starting/stopping, dynamic braking, and reversing of three phase squirrel cage motors.


Our soft start/stop controllers are suitable for switching motors up to 40 HP (600V).


Applications include conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, industrial dryers, mixers, automatic doors, palletizers, and fans.

Our Range Comprises

  • Three phase soft start/stop controllers up to 40 HP / 600 VAC for mounting onto external heatsinks.
  • Three phase soft start/stop controllers up to 20 HP (CSA) : 25 HP (UL) for mounting directly onto DIN rail (no external heatsink is required).
  • Soft starters with a kick-start feature for starting higher inertia loads such as pumps and conpressors.
  • Reversing controllers up to 3 HP / 460 VAC.
  • Dynamic braking controllers up to 60 Amps DC / 400 V
