Photoelectric Sensors



Carlo Gavazzi offers a large range of photoelectric sensors which are used extensively on packaging machinery, automatic door systems, and in car washes. Our sensors are available in diffuse reflective, background suppression, reto-reflective, polarized, and through beam. We also offer a range of fibre-optic type sensors for applications where a conventional sensor cannot be used (space restrictions, temperature, atmosphere).

Also included in our range of photoelectric sensors, is our VP series optical types. These are ideal for use in level applications. They are available in various housing materials which allow their use in various industrial cleaning solutions.

Our Range Comprises

  • Available in diffuse, retro-reflective, polarized, and through-beam types.
  • Cylindrical types with 18mm diameter - available with plastic or nickel-plated brass housings.
  • Flat pack styles.
  • High power types for use in car washes and other harsh environments.
  • Clear object sensors.
  • Colour sensors for detection of up to 4 independent colours.
  • Fibre optic types for use in places where a standard photosensor will not fit..
  • Available with NPN or PNP transistor, SCR, or relay output..
  • Available with a 2 metre cable or with a quick disconnect plug. Some models are also available with 1/2 inch conduit entry.
