Q. Is it possible to program the input module
via a computer without powering the input module?
You cannot connect your PC to to inut module
while the input signal is present because the auxiliary serial port
of the input module is not insulated from the input terminals. If
the input signal is connected, serious damage can occur to both the
PC and input module.
