offers a comprehensive range of controls for monitoring loading
on a motor. For basic monitoring, we offer current monitoring relays
as well as current transducers. For applications where you need
more accuracy (brush pressure), we also offer controls for monitoring
the motor power or the motor power factor. Since the power is proportional to the actual load on the motor (unlike current), and the power factor is nearly proportional over the working range of the motor, this allows detecting small changes in brush pressure.
